The water in the pond around the stage seemed to be filthy yet it supported plenty of wild life . . such as this beautiful Red Admiral . . 

 . . and some of the lilies in the pond . .

this Moorhen went lilyhopping . .

and was followed a while later by this chick . .

this family of Mallards were amongst the audience during the Dance Workshops . .

and a second family of Mallards, with the youngsters a bit more grown up, were having a go at synchronised swimming whilst the Workshops were under way . .

this was one of several big fish that came up from time to time for something to eat . . and this was one of the more inquisitive dogs that was in the Park that day . .

and despite the clouds, reflected here in the Pond . . the day never seemed to be anything other than very sunny and extremely hot . .
