August 8th 2010 began as a dull morning and it seemed that the Bearbrook 10k might be a great event to run in but a difficult one to photograph very well, and as the ladies and gents from Tring prepared for the race, the sun steadfastly refused to shine . .

until about 15 minutes before the start when . . at last . . we were rewarded with August sunshine . .
